Mr. Chuao has long been committed to introducing new planning and design concepts for retail environments, elevating brand identities across the fashion, apparel, and department store industries and becoming a leader in the field.

Experience

Over the course of his career, Mr. Chuao has worked across large-scale retail facilities, leading international luxury brands, hotels and fine dining, and major airport duty-free stores. Beginning with strategy, he identifies planning directions aligned with contemporary trends and provides comprehensive professional services for a new generation of commercial spaces.
His work spans large commercial environments and independent stores, including construction, concept development, architecture, commercial and residential interiors, interior decoration, lighting, visual design, artwork, display, furniture, styling, advertising, sales promotion, operating materials, and menu development.

Dickie Chain錢永豪

Joined Superunion's HK Office in 1993 and was a key figure in establishing the firm's presence in Greater China region. Expertise spanning brand identity, visual identity systems, corporate publications and packaging design.
Designed new brand identity system for Hongkong Post in 1997, including iconic "hummingbird" logo, applications across postboxes, vehicles, uniforms and other touchpoints.
In 2002, designed a new corporate identity for China Resources Group, reinterpreting the Chinese character “華” (Hua) in a contemporary form. Four “人” (people) characters embedded within the symbol express the Group’s people-centred philosophy.
In 2006, designed the brand identity system for COFCO Group. The project became one of his major works in mainland China and received widespread recognition within the industry.
In 2021, participated in the rebranding of Sinochem following the merger of Sinochem and ChemChina, building on his extensive experience in branding major corporations.
Worked with Jardine Matheson for nearly two decades from 1999, providing design services across the Group’s brand identity system, annual reports, internal publications, websites, and internal brand initiatives.
Extensive experience in branding for Hong Kong educational institutions, including logo and visual identity systems for The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Vocational Training Council, Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong, International Culinary Institute, and Hong Kong Design Institute.
Has worked with numerous prominent mainland Chinese companies, including Sinochem, COFCO Group, OCT Group, Shandong Heavy Industry Group, Sanjiu Pharmaceutical, Legend Capital, ENN Group, Longfor Group, Parkview Green Beijing, and Joy City.
In branding and packaging design, has contributed to brand revitalisation projects for Dabao and Kangwang, as well as providing design services for organisations including Coca-Cola, Swire Group, Hong Kong Disneyland, City of Dreams, and The Link REIT.。
Graduated with distinction from the Bachelor of Design programme at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1993.
After leaving the company in 2010, continued to contribute to selected branding projects as a consultant and founded TKMW Creative, specialising in brand design and providing tailored services to a diverse range of clients.
